Arash Bahari Kordabad was born in Tabriz, Iran, Feb 10th, 1995 . He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Cybernetics Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway, under the supervision of Prof. Sebastien Gros in 2023. During the Ph.D., he was a visiting researcher at Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark, with Prof. ‪Rafael Wisniewski‬ for eight months. Before joining NTNU, he got his B.Sc. in mechanical engineering at the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2017, and his M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, in 2019. He currently works at the Max Planck Institute for software systems, Kaiserslautern, Germany, with Prof. Sadegh Soudjani as a postdoc researcher. His research interests include safe reinforcement learning, model predictive control, and optimization for autonomous vehicles, smart-grid applications, and multi-agent systems.
